I discovered One Golden Thread through a Facebook ad. They were advertising their Plush Ribbed Henley Long Sleeve for $238. And I wondered to myself, what does a $238 long sleeve Henley feel like.

Ya . . . it feels pretty freaking amazing! Now, I don't usually spend this amount of money on a casual vibe, but I pulled on that one little golden thread and found my soul-mate at the end of it. Their unique style begins with TreeSilk™, One Golden Thread's proprietary signature fabric. A blend of European Beechtree fiber combined with the top 1% of ethical cotton. Their style is elegant casual, with an emphasis on comfort.

I first guiltily purchased that Long Sleeve Henley for what I then considered a very high price, and fell in love with it. It truly is the most comfortable pull-over shirt I have ever worn. The fabric is soft, breathes effortlessly, and with it's anti-microbial fabric, perfect as active wear.

My love of the long-sleeve with its elongated torso (perfect for my smaller torso frame) and deconstructed design, spurred me to then purchase the short-sleeve in both black and agave. Described by OGT as the "perfect tee", I would have to agree. Again, the feel of these pieces is unlike anything I have known before. It's luxury without the pomp. It's comfort without the slouch.

By then, I was hooked. And although I knew I didn't have the edge required to really pull off a duster, I ordered OGT's Kairos Duster for $333. I was right, it didn't quite work for me, though I do love wearing it. I think you have to have an edgier look than I have to pull off a duster in general. Model Rand is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. He looks amazing in the duster.

One Golden Thread is now offering the duster in newer more vibrant colors that I'd be interested in trying (at a discount). And I will definitely be purchasing a pair of their Jogga pants in the near future.

If I had the discretionary income to buy more of OGT's collections, I would in a heart beat. However, at this price point, I'll settle for a few key pieces in my wardrobe.
