The armrest spring-loaded tray from Newvante is a great Christmas gift for family and friends. But I selfishly bought one for myself, and because we loved it so much, bought another for Matt afterward.

We often eat dinner while sitting in our recliners, watching television. We don't have TV trays, and no side tables big enough to set a drink on (our four remotes having top priority on that real estate). These trays are strong, securely resting on the armrest through a powerful spring-loaded clamp like a woman's hair clamp.

It's made eating dinner less messy, and our laps are now free for our kittens. I also use mine as an indoor studio, resting my watercolors and water on one, and my easel on the other.
